1938 Third Reich Silver Coin / Medal, Commemorative Issue Exceedingly Rare in Mint State. Vienna Mint, Greater German Reich Foundation #835. Page 83, #114 in Medallic Portraits of Adolph Hitler, R. EX: Emma & Karl Freudenburg Estate Collection Sheffield, Iowa. As pictured with slight toning. OBVERSE: Bust of Adolph Hitler facing right with surrounding inscription, “DER EINER UND FUHRER ALLER DEUTSCHEN” or “The one and only leader of all Germans”. REVERSE: Orb and Cross with incused dates. “13.3.1938” and “29.9.1938”, on either side. The surrounding inscription reads, “DAS GROSSDEUTSCHE REICH 1ST ERSTAND”, or “The Greater German Empire Has Arisen”. The Srtist’s Signature is found incused near the rim around 4 to 5 o’clock.
