This beautiful display tells the history of World War II coinage. The display explains the significance and reasons the coins were changed to support the war effort. The coins are mounted on a 15×12 frame and include. Three 1943 “silver” Pennies one from each Mint. The Pennies were made of zinc coated steel. Nine shell-cased Pennies produced from 1944-46 made from recycled shell cases.
