The obverse depicts two key symbols of the Mexican people: the Winged Victory statue in the forefront and the Meuxican volcanoes Popocatepeti and Iztaccihuatl in the background. The reverse features the Mexican National Seal with the official name for Mexico: “Estados Unidos Mexicanos”. The 2007 coin saw a mintage of only 200,000 making this a difficult acquistion for the collector. The coin has incredibly low mintage and the design is second to none. 999 Silver this coin was minted at “Casa de Moneda” the oldest mint in North America, established in 1535.
