Also designed by David Oram this coin features colour over the engraved depiction of the Curtiss Model H-12 piloted by flight Sub-Lieutenant (later Air Marshall) Robert Leckie of Toronto. In the background the German Zeppelin L-22 is engraved as it explodes, bursting into flame.
